My life plan didn’t quite work out, so I am starting from scratch. I have a new career, I live in a place that doesn’t feel like home, I am single parenting, and I am back in the dating pool after 25 years. Also, I haven’t seen the hamster for quite a while so I am not sure I am very good at that either. But… I am on a mission to become more badass, because that’s the only way to make it in this world.

I spoke with Cynthia Coutu, owner of Delectabulles, a Paris-based Champagne consultancy. Cynthia talks me through how to properly choose and indeed drink Champers, which isn’t really something I struggle with but it’s good to know I am doing that right, at least.
